My Photography
The majority of my work depicts the natural world and I enjoy capturing striking scenery at different times of day or as the weather is changing.
I envisage that my photographs allow the viewer to experience a natural beauty that is found in a variety of subjects. I aim to capture my subjects in a sensitive and experimental style where my images often contain water and reflections that add a surreal feel to them.
Reefscape (below) captures a tranquil moment that I was able to escape to after a dive in the shallows of a Red Sea reef. This photograph best describes my style and desire to describe light, colour and reflection in a unique way.

Aside from landscapes, scuba diving and my fascination with the underwater world I am also interested in exploring architectural and portrait photography.
My Background
I studied Fine Art at university where I explored a number of projects working in video, art installation as well as photography. In my final year I purchased my very first underwater camera, it took 35mm film and I could take it to a depth of 5 metres! Subsequently I became an Open Water diver and completed my training dives out of Portland Harbour. There I experienced the UK's murky greeny waters and I dived my first wreck, the spooky Countess of Erne. The experience was quite surreal and I was suddenly addicted to the liquid world.
A few years later, and I am a PADI Divemaster with nearly 600 dives. I have travelled to around 15 countries to dive including The Seychelles, The Red Sea, Papua New Guniea, Fiji, California and Borneo.
